Batocera is its own Linux Distribution specifically made for Emulation and you gonna need to use the Bootmanager, while booting up your Steam Deck, to boot from the SD Card. EmuDeck 2.0 is remarkably easy to use and makes damn-near every game I've tested (up to PS2) work flawlessly. I have only EmulationStation in my Steam menu, and the Modern UI for it looks just as good as Batocera. Good to know, I've been wondering if there's an update and hadn't checked yet.
